Beautiful accessories that don't cost the earth

Life as a Vagabond

Coasting along

About time I wrote again! It's been busy personally, and I've got my little business set up so I can let go of the reins and let it just run itself for awhile. My one-year anniversary (May 29) came and went and I look back and marvel at how far I've come with Vagabond since I first opened. I'm in a sweet location, have a fantastic-looking store, have shown at fairs and festivals, have expanded what I carry, and made some good trade-offs with my time and talents so I'm at least not losing any money on the days I don't sell much.

I also got a partner named June, who, in return for some space to sell her own art prints, cards, and dog-coats, looks after the booth every other Saturday, so my weekends are freed up again. Altogether not bad for one year!

Coming up I'm going to Ingersoll to do Canterbury Festival with Peggy; then Ribfest with Velle; and Matthews Hall wants me back in November and another private school in Toronto has also invited to come to their fair in November.

I'm looking forward to expanding my list of where to sell in the future, and adding more pictures to my website. Still lots to learn and do...
